Pagrindinė kovinė būsena – lašai. Lydymosi temperatūra -60 °C, virimo temperatūra 180 °C. Labai blogai tirpsta vandenyje, gerai – organiniuose tirpikliuose. Sąlyginė mirtinoji dozė įkvėpus 3 mg·min/l, pro odą – 10–20 mg/kg. Su neorganinėmis rūgštimis sudaro vandenyje tirpias nuodingąsias druskas; gali būti naudojamas vandens šaltiniams užteršti.
